Days 4-11
Well this past week or so has covered days 4-11 of my credit repair process under the disputing inaccuracies I found in my report. The 3 Major Credit Bureaus haven't responded yet to my "certified" mailed letters as of yet. Since the countdown has begun, they have now only 19 days left to respond with valid proof that these debts are mine.I look forward to repairing my credit report so that I will no longer suffer from having to pay higher interest rates because this FICO, especially if I didn't make the bad credit decisions that they have on my record. Well today is Day 1 in my credit repair process under the disputing inaccuracies I found in my report. The 3 Major Credit Bureaus should have recieved my "certified" mailed letters today. Now the countdown begins officially, they have 29 days left to respond with valid proof that these debts are mine.

IMPROVING CREDIT SCORE
FROM POOR FICO TO GOOD FICO-THE ULTIMATE GOAL
Today I made my first step in repairing my credit report. I went through the report searching for all the inaccurate data that I could locate, such as mispelled name, addresses, bogus accounts, etc. So, after gathering everything that I felt needed to be disputed I mailed my dispute letters to the 3 Major Credit Bureaus, understanding that they have 30 days to either prove the debt is mine or remove these items from my report all together.
I sent the letters certified mail so that I have proof that I infact send the letters and the stamped date on the receipt to prove it as well. This stage of my post will serve a chronicle of my experiences in correcting my credit report and also serve as a tutorial for all of those like myself, who can't afford a credit repair service, but desperately need to improve their credit score.
